Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how SteamIDBot processes information.

Steam Data

We access public data through the Steam API. We may cache details like SteamIDs, avatars, Steam levels, and ban statuses to improve performance and reduce repeated requests.

Discord Data

To operate the bot, we may store essential server and usage data (e.g., guild IDs, command usage frequency, and lookup timestamps). If the bot is removed from a server, associated Discord-specific data is deleted as part of normal operation.

Watchlist Data

When you use /watch, we store the Steam profiles you choose to monitor. This data is private — only you can see your own watchlist. You can remove profiles at any time.

Data Requests

Users can request deletion or ask questions via the support server. We respond to all data requests within 30 days.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we process and store.

Changes

This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use signifies acceptance of the updated policy.
